CHESS BALL TUTORIAL

Strictly speaking, the movement is alternated, a player cannot make two consecutive movements. After his turn to move, each player must wait for the opposing player to move.

Positioning. The 4 players with a light green base must be placed in the boxes marked with an A and must be moved to all the light green boxes. The 4 players with a dark green base are placed in the boxes with the B and move to the dark green boxes.

Movement. They move one or two squares (beyond the occupied one) diagonally or by discarding the central chisel of a different colour. Only in the two side strips can they jump over the adjacent square of a different color if it is not occupied by their own or an opponent’s pawn.

The Captain occupies the square marked with the letter C. He Moves in all directions horizontally, vertically, diagonally, forwards, backwards any number of squares. Warning: to enter the opponent’s half of the field, he must stop in a square in the 7th median strip and continue his excursion into the opponent’s half of the field. Same situation to return to your own half.

The Goalkeeper occupies the square marked with a K. He only moves one square in all directions, in the 3 gridded squares, in the 3 red squares and in all the circled squares.

The ball cannot be moved independently, detached from the movement of another player. For the ball to be moved, a player must enter the same square occupied by the ball. Only then can the ball be moved.

Movement. The ball moves from a minimum of one square to a maximum of 4 squares, in all directions: horizontal, vertical, diagonal, forwards, backwards. Attention, it also moves in a staggered direction in the shape of an “L” (2 + 1 or 3 + 1).

Important, the kicker cannot follow the ball. The footballer can only move to another square if he does not have the ball, but if he is in possession of it, he can only move the ball.

The Goal. A goal is scored when the ball enters one of the 3 grid boxes of the opponent’s goal by making the permitted movements. To prevent the goal from being scored, the goalkeeper must position himself in the grid box of the goal into which the ball could be projected so as to be able to intercept it if necessary.

Mandatory, the ball overrides the players, a player cannot override another player but discards him. The players can enter the opposing yellow boxes, they cannot absolutely occupy the 3 red boxes of the small area and the 3 grid boxes of the goal.

Attention. The goalkeeper can receive the ball from one of his teammates, both in the circled and in the red boxes, in this case he has two possible options: the short pass within the half field which requires respecting the movement of the ball (from one to 4 boxes) or alternatively the long throw with which the player can place the ball, at his discretion, in any light or dark green box of the opponent’s half of the field with the exception of the circled boxes.

Important. When an opponent places the ball in a red box in the small area, he obliges the goalkeeper, in the following turn, to throw the ball back, otherwise he suffers a penalty.

THE PENALTY. Attention, the penalty can only be caused by the goalkeeper when the ball is present in one of the 3 red boxes. The goalkeeper has the obligation to relaunch the ball immediately in the next round, when the opponent places the ball in a red box, if this does not happen because more movements are required, the goalkeeper gets his team a penalty. (See regulation).

When the player is in possession of the ball, he has 4 options: 1. To throw the ball into a neutral square. In this case, the ball will be removed when a player enters the square occupied by the ball. 2. To pass the ball to a teammate. In this case you have to wait for the opponent’s counter move.

3. To do a double pass by triangulating.

Triangulation: Triangulation consists of a double pass, making the ball perform a double movement. That is, a footballer passes the ball to a teammate who in turn, without moving, passes the ball to another teammate, respecting the movements of the ball, without the opponent being able to intervene. The pass must be made in one’s own half of the pitch or in the opponent’s half of the pitch and the ball cannot be sent into an empty space but must be sent to the space occupied by one of one’s teammates who, once having received the ball, may run the risk of being booked .

4. Holding the ball. In this case, if the player is intercepted by an opponent while he is holding it, he commits an obstruction foul, he is booked and the opponent can re-throw the ball.

Warnings. Yellow-carded players must be transferred to the “ADMONITION” position in the respective boxes A, B, C. The yellow-carded player can immediately return to the pitch, respecting his turn and the player’s movements, after depositing it in the central box outside the playing field showing the referee, of one of the 2 “Admonition” cards, available for each team.

After 2 yellow cards, the third player is sent off directly and all the others follow.

Out of play. It is found only in the yellow boxes. If a player poses he moves his player into the opposing yellow boxes to throw the ball or obstruct, on the next move of his turn, he has the obligation to move the player from that box, otherwise he loses his turn to move and the opposing player can remove the player in question, moving it to his liking in one of the boxes in the half field.

Essential. It is not considered out of play if a player from the opposing team is also present in his circled yellow box.
